Program Overview

Logistics is a core business practice that is responsible for the creation of value to the external customer and helps to integrate the other functions and processes of the firm. This program, using cases and lectures, will identify process to integrate logistics and transportation to provide value both internal to the firm and external to the firm.

Three of the six modules (Logistics and SCM, System Design and Transportation Management) will focus on value creation within the firm and three modules (Logistics Service Providers, E-commerce and Future Trends) will focus on value creation outside the firm. Through the integration of logistics and transportation and management control of information, products and funds, greater efficiency is provided through the extended supply chain.
