Program Overview

Strategic Supply Management explores the expanding role played by supply managers toward achieving better performance in a global economy.  This course examines the four enablers of supply management excellence—information technology systems; measurement systems, including total cost systems; capable human resources; and the right organizational structure.  Examples of other topics covered include global sourcing; early involvement in product development; strategy development; supply alliances; supplier development; and price and cost management.
