"Lehigh has provided me with a number of amazing opportunities, both professionally and personally, and truly shaped me into who I am today."

What are your career aspirations?

"I aspire to be a management consultant within the financial services industry. As I work my way up to becoming Partner, I hope to learn as much as possible, develop an area of expertise and consistently be challenged by the work I am doing."

How well do you think the Lehigh business curriculum prepared you for success in getting a job or internship?

"The Lehigh business curriculum has had a tremendous influence on my ability to secure internships and jobs. As part of the curriculum, students are exposed to not only a number of different business spheres, but also to other fields of study unrelated to business. Through Lehigh’s business curriculum, I’ve been able to learn about the organizational structure of businesses while also honing my analytical and writing skills through the classes I’ve taken within the College of Arts and Sciences. Undeniably, the rigorous nature of the business curriculum combined with the skills and experiences I’ve accumulated as a CBE student have helped me become a more well-rounded individual and gain a competitive edge."

Have you found the curriculum to be flexible in allowing you to pursue diverse interests in addition to your business interests?

"Due to the incredible flexibility of Lehigh’s curriculum I have been able to have an extremely rare experience that has expanded my horizons beyond the boundaries of “traditional” business. I’m currently double majoring in finance and economics and minoring in real estate. I’ve also been afforded the opportunity to study and intern abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark and Dublin, Ireland, respectively. All of these experiences contribute to my competitive edge. "

What experiences outside of your business study, do you credit for some of your success?

"My experiences as a Tauck Scholar have by far played a major role in my success. Travelling abroad has allowed me to gain a global mindset, learn how to operate outside of my comfort zone and ultimately given me a competitive edge."

Have you found someone within the CBE to be particularly helpful as you make important decisions?

"Absolutely! Professors at Lehigh truly have an open door policy. In my experience, when I sought out professors, whether I was seeking academic help or advice, professors have always been more than willing to help out in any way possible. Anne Anderson, in particular, has been extremely helpful as I contemplated my next steps after my time at Lehigh. Professor Anderson provided insightful advice, connected me to PwC professionals and aided me in making my final decision."

Do you see yourself as part of a community that’s is instrumental to success now and beyond Lehigh?

"During my time at Lehigh, I have been fortunate to form meaningful relationships with friends, alumni and faculty. It is my hope to nurture and leverage these relationships for continued success well into the future."

Are you proud to say that you are from Lehigh? If so, “why?”

"Yes! Lehigh has provided me with a number of amazing opportunities both professionally and personally and truly shaped me into who I am today."
