Program Overview

Do you sometimes find yourself wondering what it really means to be a leader? What is expected of you beyond the general responsibility of overseeing a group of people or a project? What do you need to demonstrate that indicates you are going to be an effective member of the organization as a leader?

This program is intended to provide a framework that you can use to answer those questions and have a clearer understanding how you can feel confident and yet be humble about who you are.  You will know what you can do moving forward to demonstrate high performance.

You will:

  • Explore the topics of leading vs. managing
  • Discover the vital few elements of leadership that will provide the most impact on your success
  • Gain insight about how you “fit” those elements and learn what you can intentionally do to close any gaps

The focus will be on applying what you learn, with special emphasis on the issues and challenges that you will face in your day-to-day experiences.  The tools that will be shared are best practice models with discussions of those models being applied to your circumstances.
