Flex MBA Tuition and Expenses 

The Lehigh Flex MBA can be completed at a part-time or an accelerated pace in order to fit your lifestyle. Below is everything you need to know about tuition and expenses to consider which pace is right for you. 

Tuition for Part-Time and Accelerated Students

Graduate tuition at Lehigh is determined on a per credit hour basis. The cost per credit hour applies to international, domestic, part-time and accelerated students.

Flex MBA Program (on campus, Classroom LIVE, and online courses, AY 2016-2017)

  • Cost per credit hour: $1,075.00
  • Classroom Online course fee: $100.00 per course (does not apply to Classroom LIVE). 

MBA & Engineering Program (on campus, Classroom LIVE, and online courses, AY 2016-2017)

  • Cost per credit hour: $1,420.00
  • Classroom Online course fee: $100.00 per course (does not apply to Classroom LIVE). 

MBA & Educational Leadership (on campus, AY 2016-2017)

  • Cost per credit hour: $825.00
  • MBA orientation fee: $375

The cost per credit hour is subject to change in academic year 2017-2018.

Estimated Budget for Accelerated Students in the Flex MBA

Flex MBA students must carry a minimum of nine [9] credit hours per term to be considered an accelerated student. Flex MBA students may also be certified accelerated by the College of Business & Economics Dean's office if the student carries less than nine credits for a term, which may occur during the last semester of study.

The figures presented below are the estimated costs for one year of study (based on 9 credit hours per term). Your actual costs may be higher.

Tuition Deferment for Part-time students in the Flex MBA

Lehigh offers a tuition deferment plan for students with employer tuition reimbursement plans. Students utilizing this plan must sign a promissory note and pay a $50.00 fee per semester. Students must submit a new deferment form for each semester in which they choose to participate.

Lehigh offers a payment plan that allows students to pay their tuition over three installments. An installment of 40% is due by the first day of class with two additional installments of 30% each due 30 and 60 days after classes begin.

Housing

The cost of living in the Lehigh Valley is very affordable. The Office of Residential Services maintains on-campus graduate student housing that ranges from $530/month to $750/month with a variety of options. The Office of Graduate Student Life website contains comprehensive information on temporary and permanent housing, roommate forums and finders, a list of off-campus apartments, and links to local newspaper classifieds. Information on leases and city inspections may be obtained here too.

Sickness & Injury Insurance

Lehigh University has entered into an agreement with University Health Plans, Inc. to provide graduate students with the option to purchase sickness and injury coverage.
