Supply Chain Management: Capstone Experience

This program is designed for mid-level working professionals and is part of the Supply Chain Management Certificate Program.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW:

The Capstone Experience requires participants to apply their supply chain knowledge in a case-based learning environment that addresses the development and implementation of supply chain strategies.  Identify opportunities to reduce supply chain costs both within the firm and companies both upstream and downstream to the firm.

IMPACT & BENEFITS:

  • Understand how to integrate supply chain management, demand management, cost and risk management, lean management and logistics and transportation
  • Develop strategic management skills to formulate and implement effective strategies in competing supply chain environments
  • Identify appropriate supply chain collaborative strategy for a win-win situation for all firms in a supply chain
  • Balance and make trade-offs among portfolio, supply chain operations and marketing in a competitive dynamic marketplace

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Mid-level managers and functional experts with at least 3 to 5 years of professional experience and who are interested in obtaining new knowledge and skills for success in Supply Chain Management and Operations based positions.
