FOR THE BUSY PROFESSIONAL GETTING YOUR MBA CAN SEEM LIKE A DAUNTING TASK. TRAVELING FOR WORK, LONG DAYS, AND SUDDEN CHANGES IN YOUR SCHEDULE CAN BE OBSTACLES TO MAKING THIS CRITICAL MOVE TO TAKING YOUR CAREER TO THE NEXT LEVEL.

SHOULD YOU CHOOSE ON-CAMPUS OR ONLINE? CHOOSE BOTH AT THE SAME TIME.

The LEHIGH UNIVERSITY FLEX MBA provides an unparalleled level of flexibility to the active professional. Students can opt to participate on campus or online each day, depending on what their schedule dictates. Perhaps you prefer the networking environment of being on campus, but you need to travel for a work assignment for two weeks. Attend classes in person, and when you leave town you can join your classes online during your time away. It’s the ultimate hybrid learning environment.

Even if you choose part-time enrollment you will still have a networking cohort, adding the same value to your time with Lehigh as a full-time student would receive. Additionally, the Lehigh Alumni Network is a robust asset that you will take with you as you move up in your career.

If you are already finding yourself in a management environment, or see yourself moving into that position very soon, there is no longer any reason to wait to come to Lehigh University for your MBA.

GUIDING PRINCIPLES OF THE FLEX MBA PROGRAM

1. STRUCTURED/UNSTRUCTURED DECISION-MAKER

The Lehigh Flex MBA creates an environment that challenges its students to think in unaccustomed ways. Students are taught how to be clear and precise thinkers, and also how to evaluate the myriad of situations in the business milieu.

2. LEADERSHIP

The Lehigh Flex MBA continually tests how business savvy its students are and supports the process of transitioning from the mindset of the employee to the manager.

3. ETHICAL & SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

In an ever-changing business, economic, social, and financial climate, the Lehigh Flex MBA emphasizes the importance of being an ethical decision-maker, keeping a consciousness toward sustainability, and a commitment to free minds.

4. EXTENSIVE & INCLUSIVE THINKING/COMMUNICATION

The Lehigh Flex MBA expects its students to think objectively, quantitatively, and strategically. It promotes unstructured problem solving, accentuating crisis management. Communication is also at the crux of business; the Lehigh Flex MBA values 360° communication: the ability to speak to those above, below, and equivalent with the same respect.

5. COMPREHENSIVE UNDERSTANDING OF DOMESTIC & GLOBAL BUSINESS

The business world is no longer individualized in the traditional sense. The Lehigh Flex MBA prepares its students to be leaders in the global economy from simulating operations in a multi-cultural environment to international practicum.

What Do Our Graduates Say?

Stacy Bertolino

Class of 2018

I have wanted to pursue my MBA for years but with career and family responsibilities it would be difficult to manage from a time perspective. Commuting to and from work, school and children's activities would be a significant struggle.  Online programs have always intrigued me but when done investigating it was not a true MBA experience. Lehigh's MBA brings a true MBA experience to those who cannot get to the classroom. The interaction with my peers and the knowledge I am learning from the discussions has been invaluable.

Brian Marchini

Class of 2017

I reviewed a number of MBA programs over the past year, and ultimately chose Lehigh University for several reasons.

First and foremost, Lehigh seemed to have the best combination of online flexibility and in-person class integration. Many programs seemed to either cater an online experience or an in-person experience, but few rarely offered both.  I am looking forward to the opportunity to attend class while still being able to remain connected when I cannot attend a lecture.

Other factors that weighed in on my decision were proximity to both New York and Philadelphia, reputation of the school and friendliness of the staff and process.

Getting to this point has been a long path.  I spent most of my career in the retail automotive business before returning to school to complete a degree in computer science. Surprisingly, this led me back into the automotive sector, but this time, on the national corporate side of the industry where I work with automotive executives and aid them in management their dealer network, online commerce and other key factors of the industry.

I am hoping to firm up my raw business knowledge with a more academic background, network with people in other industries as well as continue developing my own technical skills through projects within the MBA program.

I think I am somewhat rare in that I am very much a technology enthusiast who loves to program and develop interesting new products, but also enjoys working with non-technical savvy individuals to help them achieve their goals.
