Crafted for Student Success

Centered on themes of relationship building, professional presence and academic strength, 16 exceptional students completed the 2017 Master of Science in Management (M2) Orientation with support from MS Management alumni, faculty and staff.

The two-week orientation consisted of 39 sessions designed to introduce students to networking, command presence and leadership, program management and communications skills- high priority qualities for employers.

Panel discussions featured high profile industry executives from organizations such as Thomson Reuters, Hewlett Packard, JetSpring and Deloitte Consulting followed by intimate networking sessions.

Students heard from MS Management alumni who shared perspectives on success, participated in mock interviews and engaged in the finer points of business etiquette with employer partners during a formal dinner.

The 2018 class presents nine different majors from bioengineering to political science and an average GPA of 3.4.

The third cohort continues on the path of the previous two cohorts that now have positions at top companies such as Deloitte, Amazon, Zulily, ADP, IBM, Mack Trucks and more.
