There are various opportunities for finance students to get involved in additional activities here at the College. Some of these activities include:
- Investment Management Group: Students are provided hands-on experience in security analysis and portfolio management of three "real money" portfolios: Dreyfus Portfolio, FSL Value Portfolio and Rights Portfolio.
- Thompson International Portfolio: Students participate in an experiential learning activity in international investing, analyzing foreign economies and markets, and determining the allocation of funds.
- Internship [PDF]: To best prepare students for the business world, the faculty and alumni assist students in obtaining internships with leading firms such as Morgan Stanley, Vanguard, AT&T and Ingersoll-Rand.
